I want to make a quick announcement that after 14 years of waiting, the beloved Rocko's modern life is now officially out on DVD! I hope you grew up on it, but if not don't worry because you'll probably appreciate it a lot more now, since it is about being a young adult. Extremely clever, hilariously irreverent and beautifully animated. It was overshadowed by Ren & Stimpy, but it is just as good in most respects. Nick sure knew what it was doing back then.

(first post)

This is actually my 5th try for this lesson. Don't be fooled; it's not as accurate is it might look, I'm very unhappy with how the face looks in general. I'm gonna try more this weekend

Lookin' good! How big do you draw?
Wow, that is really good. I was just looking at all your posts, and I see some awesome improvement. You REALLY got the egg shape down, and the details that wrap around it.
Looks very close, Patrick. I try to think of the mouth as 2 separate lines instead of 1 shape. The upper lip hangs over and is more of a bent straight line than an arc. Hope that helps!
Thanks guys! They're about 6 inches Gabriele. Hey, that's a good way to think of the mouth Caleb. I do have a tendency to make it a perfect arc.
Nice job Patrick. I think it's great that this is your 5th attempt. It's amazing how much you can learn through repetition, making mistakes and having to correct them. Keep at it. I think your efforts are really going to pay off.
Good job,
You keep getting better. It's just about tightening it all, now.
