Kaspar!

Hi all, i'm having some issues loosening up with these Kaspar exercises. This is my latest one, please visit my blog (www.mrpaalstudies.blogspot.com) for the others. Comments much appreciated! Cheers,
Paul.

This looks great Paul, it's funny right away. I could only see a few small things to look for:

-His chin area looks kind of like a beard, it might have something to do with the right side armpit area and the way the bottom 'tip' is shaped.

-the ears might be too different in size. The one on the right is funnier.

Nice work, keep it up.

I'm working on that one right now too. Yours is a lot better than mine. The only major problem I spot with yours is Kaspar's right leg. It seems to be lacking proper structure and perspective. It is an awkward pose ain't it.

A minor critique would be the fingers & toes could use more interesting shapes.

Keep it up!

Thanks guys!

Caleb - now all i can see when i look at it is a beard! :P & yeah, i think the larger ear could use some work, it looks almost like it's not connected to the head.

Patrick - i agree, that leg looks flat, i should make it overlap the foot. His other leg (Kaspar's left) looks a bit small too.

Fingers & toes are tricky - trying to get the balance between making them interesting without being distracting!

Cheers guys.

I agree with patrick's leg analysis. Your face is very pleasing! Actually your lines are pleasing too, you've got the skills man! :D Keep it up!
