It taught me to pay attention to subtle bends in lines and to make smoother curves. After awhile though, it seemed too close to tracing.

I think it's good to make sure the egg shape is solid first though, since it's really hard to make it look right if that is off. I'm sure with enough practice you could eventually stop overlaying the egg shape, and just use your eyes to check it.Calebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05869540004263391426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673901165267390958.post-13675764801507949262010-01-12T04:58:09.485-08:002010-01-12T04:58:09.485-08:00Hey Caleb,

For these exercises I want to be able to draw the figures and see the mistakes without using an overlay. When I'm done drawing all of the Preston Blair figures, I'll probably draw them all over again.

I'd love to see what you guys are working on.Calebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05869540004263391426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673901165267390958.post-11923786404620134782009-12-28T07:45:53.975-08:002009-12-28T07:45:53.975-08:00Yeah, I'd say between every couple of steps us...Yeah, I'd say between every couple of steps use a lightbox to compare the two.

It also looks like you know what you're supposed to draw, but you aren't drawing it. It just doesn't look solid to me. You know what they say, try try and try again.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04235254070667281419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673901165267390958.post-34460663243844476332009-12-28T00:14:08.264-08:002009-12-28T00:14:08.264-08:00Good to see you posting :)
